Alanna Ford graduated Magna Cum Laude in Art and International Studies at Davidson College where she was engaged in women’s issues, body image activism and social justice work. She has worked and studied on four continents, including designing with fair trade artisan groups at the Self-Employed Women’s Association in India, working with the small-scale cooperative Fibras del Paraiso in Ecuador, and studying Art Therapy in Spain. She is excited to situate her previous grassroots work in a larger context by learning about more broad, systemic change here at Women’s Funding Network.
