A World of Good: Simple Consumer Actions Create Lasting Solutions to Poverty and Climate Change

[Name of Organization] has joined an exciting new movement to raise funds and awareness for programs addressing women in poverty and climate change. Through our partnership with Good Deed Foundation, we will promote simple acts that help create lasting solutions for women and families in poverty and climate change issues that are predicted to impact more than 50 million people in the next three years.

Good Deed Foundation will invest two-thirds of its profits in poverty alleviation programs that build women's financial assets, job opportunities, skills and entrepreneurship in the U.S. and across the globe. The other one-third of profits generated by Good Deed Foundation will aid in solutions to climate change, a phenomenon that is expected to greatly increase poverty, according to the United Nations Security Council. Good Deed Foundation distributes a minimum of 90% of its revenue to these causes.

Good Deed's Simple Actions:

A. Recycle your cell phone - Turn retired cell phones into money and practical support for women's programs and the environment by recycling your old cell phones either individually or at events and meetings. It's as simple as requesting a postage-paid envelope or collection box at www.GoodDeedFoundation.org/recycle.

B. Request Good Deed-branded products - Good Deed Foundation is working with several grocery store chains, including [see the Good Deed website for which retailer is near your organization], to stock Good Deed-branded products and even add the Good Deed logo to their own store brands. Inform [your local retailer] that you, along with consumers across the country, are eager to purchase products with the Good Deed logo at their stores. Find out how simple it is at www.GoodDeedFoundation.org/retailers.

These simple actions have the potential to raise major revenue. If 250,000 households each recycled two cell phones, more than $1 million could be generated for good. As for supermarket products, just think: Hundreds of brands, thousands of stores, millions of consumers! The possibilities are endless.

[Name of Organization] is committed to the success of Good Deed Foundation's Simple Consumer Actions. Join us by flexing your consumer power! A simple act. A world of good.

Take Action: Purchase Cabot cheese with the Good Deed logo!

Just think: Hundreds of brands, thousands of stores, millions of consumers!

Look for Cabot products with the Good Deed logo at Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Stop and Shop and Demoulas/Market Basket.
